My Portfolio

Savannah Ghost Bus

A painting of my experience on a ghost tour bus in Savannah, Georgia. I also tried to depict motion of the other passengers onboard.

Nosferatu

My painting of Bill Skarsgard as Count Orlok from Robert Eggers' 'Nosferatu.'

My Vacuform Face

Acrylic paint on 10"x8" wood panel. 2026

Acrylic paint on 11"x14" wood panel. 2026

I wanted to portray motion in this image with the use of the three hands and mask, as well as utilizing more creative colors into the hands and throughout the painting.

Acrylic paint on 18"x24" wood panel. 2026

My Old Friend

I wanted to portray motion by showing three heads turning, three hands changing positions, as well as lighting changes from the lighter and cigarette.

Acrylic on 24"x18" wood panel. 2026

Halls of Neon

A painting of my friend at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. I wanted to challenge myself by painting bright colored neon signs, figuring out how to use paint to actually make them look like they are emitting light. Also, great effort was involved with measuring everything in the background out, making sure the perspective looked correct throughout.

Mothman Festival 2022

A painting of a moment I saw at the Mothman Festival 2022 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. This was the most people I painted in a single painting up to this point.

Acrylic paint on 10"x8" wood panel. 2023

Sunset Highway

I had a gorgeous view of the sun going down and the colors of the sky reflecting off of the road, so I wanted to paint it. This was the first piece I decided to paint on wood panel.

A painting of my view heading up to the top of Clingmans Dome, the highest point of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Acrylic paint on 12"x9" canvas. 2020

Golden Gate Selfie

A self portrait of me visiting the Golden Gate Bridge. This was the first painting where I tried to portray motion through multiple images of myself.

Acrylic paint on 20"x16" canvas. 2022

Lands End

A painting of myself walking on top of one of the walls at Lands End in San Francisco. The second time I wanted to portray motion through multiple images of myself.

Acrylic paint on 20"x16" canvas. 2022

A still life painting I made of an octopus I purchased at an oddities expo.

Reptile

I wanted to do a more fantasy-like artwork so I made this painting of my favorite video game kharacter, Reptile from Mortal Kombat. I painted myself in as the body on top of the pile.

Acrylic paint on 9"x12" canvas. 2020

Chicago Blue Line

A painting of an experience I had while riding the L train in Chicago around midnight in 2017. I was in an empty train car when a girl with a broken nose stepped on. I do not know what happened, but the memory stuck with me so I decided to paint it.

Acrylic paint on 9"x12" canvas. 2020

Zak Bagans Was Here

A painting of the haunted honky-tonk Bobby Mackey's Music World in Wilder, Kentucky.

Acrylic paint on 12"x9" canvas. 2020

Painting of an old Mercedes Benz I found out in Columbus, Ohio. I added the bones into the painting.

Acrylic paint on 12"x9" canvas. 2020

Police Conduct

This is a painting I made of an image from a video taken of police in Austin, Texas shooting "less-lethal" ammunition at a group of people attempting to carry Justin Howell to medical help after he himself was shot in the head by a "less-lethal" round from police during a Black Lives Matter protest.

Acrylic paint on 9"x12" canvas. 2020

Fire

A painting of my friends around a fire during a camping trip out in Yellow Springs, Ohio. I added a hidden Wendigo into the background.

Acrylic paint on 9"x12" canvas. 2020

Esteban Was Eaten

A commission I painted where the people in the picture were to look like part of the crew from the movie 'The Life Aquatic.'

Acrylic Paint on 14"x11" canvas. 2020

Glasses

A self portrait I painted. The background is from the basement of the haunted honky-tonk Bobby Mackey's Music World. I hid a couple of ghosts in the background.

Acrylic paint on 12"x9" canvas. 2019

Batman

My Batman painting. I decided to go with 'The Dark Knight' suit because of all the extra details in it. One of the challenges of painting this was painting his suit with the appearance of being black while trying to use as little black as possible. I was able to accomplish this by utilizing yellows and even some purples.

Acrylic paint on 8"x10" canvas. 2019

Two-Face

A painting of Two-Face I made for a series of Batman paintings.

Acrylic paint on 8"x10" canvas. 2019

Joker

A painting of the Joker. This was a good opportunity to incorporate blues in an overall warm color pallet.

Acrylic paint on 8"x10" canvas. 2018

Kaiser and Bear

A painting of J.F. Sebastian's walking toys from the movie 'Blade Runner.' I haven't had much of a chance to play around with lighting in my earlier paintings (they've mostly been commissions up to this point), so I wanted to use this as an opportunity to portray back lighting.

Acrylic paint on 8"x10" canvas. 2018

Haunted Moonville Tunnel

For this piece I made sure to use really chromatic and interesting colors while still trying to make the picture as a whole look natural. One aspect that i found interesting while making this is that most of the dirt in the painting is blue, due to most of it being in shadow.

Acrylic paint on 20"x16" canvas. 2018

Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico

A painting from what I saw while I was out on a missions trip in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico.

Acrylic paint on 48"x36" canvas. 2018

The Bighorns

A commission piece. A family portrait with everyone's heads replaced with bighorn sheep. The background is loosely based on their house with much of the details added on to it.

Acrylic paint on 11"x14" canvas. 2018

Lord Doggington

A pet portrait commission piece.
